On Sunday October 13,2019, we shared in our Harvest Thanksgiving Service, this to coincide with the celebration of Thanksgiving in Canada on October 14. As we gathered for worship everyone brought gifts of fruits, vegetables, grocery items, cakes, puddings and other sweet treats. They were all laid at the altar from which the children chose items to march up with during the processional hymn. All these gifts were blessed during the service. This was an amazing service of praise as we gave thanks to God through hymns, musical items, litany and scripture, for all his blessings in our lives, spiritual, material and otherwise. As a church reaching out in missions, we donated most of these gifts to the food banks across Malton. (Images and video below)
